MariElizabeth McKeon holds bachelor degrees in Marketing and Management from Tampa College and a master degree in business administration from Boston College. She received her law degree from the Massachusetts School of Law, where she served on the staff of the Law Review.

Attorney McKeon was admitted to practice law in Massachusetts on her first attempt in the Spring of 2000. She is a dynamic legal and management professional with a proven track record of winning cases! She remembers vividly her first court appearance in which she was representing an elderly disabled client. The case involved a client who had suffered severe financial harm. The opposing counsel was a seasoned attorney who anticipated an easy win - he lost.

Attorney McKeon possesses expertise in fund raising, marketing communications, technical and legal writing, and organization re-structuring. She has extensive experience both as fund raising counsel and as in-house development staff. In recent years, she has helped nonprofit clients with a wide variety of financial enhancement efforts including campaigns, development audits, and feasibility studies. In the past, she was the Director of Development at Seton Hall University and also managed alumni relations and annual giving for Boston University's School of Dental Medicine.

In addition to law and fund raising, Ms. McKeon teaches ethics at the undergraduate and graduate levels for a major university. A classically trained musician, she is currently on the board of directors of the Master Singers of Virginia and assists a number of other charitable groups.
